NCSC - National Catholic Student Coalition
Empowered by the Spirit, the National Catholic Student Coalition (NCSC) strives to embody the Catholic identity for college students from campus ministries at institutions of higher education in the United States of America. By living the Gospel in the modern world, and gathering around our Eucharistic table, our student-directed coalition strives to promote within and among the group we serve. The NCSC is: A Voice for Catholic students on campuses across the U.S.; A Vision which strives to embody Catholic identity for college students across the nation; A Network enabling campuses throughout the country to interact and share ideas; A Resource in the form of annual conferences, regional events and the new, on-line resource bank; A Partner with national and international associations whose missions are aligned with our own.

FOCUS - Fellowship of Catholic University Students
Founded in 1997 by Curtis Martin, FOCUS, The Fellowship of Catholic University Students, is a national outreach to college campuses, both to secular and Catholic schools. Through small group Bible studies, large group leadership training, and one-on-one discipleship, FOCUS brings the fullness of life and truth in the Catholic Church to college students, and gives the tools to help them share this good news with their friends. FOCUS is working to play a vital role in the “new evangelization” called for by Pope John Paul II.

Meet the new FOCUS Missionaries for Fall 2006: Jen Willeke, Kristie Breyne, Shaun Galvin, and Joel Laliberty.

TGIF - Non-Traditional/Graduate Students
In the Spring of 2000, an additional gathering time for graduate level and non-traditional students began meeting. TGIF now meets on Friday evenings. Our intent is that students will connect and spend time together in the following four ways:

•Socially (having fun at a minimal cost) and building community
•Exploration of contemporary issues and Catholic Church teaching
•Experiencing different prayer traditions within the Church
•Service - Soup Kitchen Nights at Catholic Charities Northern

Through gathering together on Friday evenings, our hope is to provide a forum in which you can challenge and nurture your Catholic faith in a dynamic and prayer filled environment with like-minded peers. All grad students, young adults, nontrad students or post docs who love to share and reflect on their faith and like good companionship are invited to join our newly renamed group 'TGIF'. We meet Fridays at 6:30 PM at J23.

Come and rediscover an awesome and powerful ministry through music! Mass Chaos practices on Tuesdays from8:00-9:30 PM, following T.N.T.

Mass Chaos University Student Choir Program was one of Seven Exemplary Programs showcased at the 2002 Campus Ministry Bishop's Reception in Washington, DC! The "Mass Chaos University Choir Program" was honored by U.S. Bishops for excellence in "Forming the Faith Community." Attending the November 13, 2002 U.S. Bishops reception in Washington D.C., Rachel Hoch represented John XXIII University Ministry, and Mark Wisthoff represented the "Mass Chaos" choir in Washington D.C. Our program, along with the additional six recognized programs were showcased at conferences throughout the country during 2003.
