About
Us
Reconciliation
is central to the preaching and mission of Jesus and is a central
characteristic of the Kingdom He proclaimed. Jesus dreamed and
preached of a Kingdom where peace, unity, and love would be hallmark
qualities and experiences.
As a servant of that Kingdom, the Catholic
Church is at its best when it embodies those same Kingdom and
Gospel values within its own relationships, life, and communal
structures.
Within
every Catholic Community there are conflicts, breaks in relationship,
and wounded feelings that have roots in misunderstandings, human
weakness, ignorance, human limitations, past hurts, confusions,
unmet expectations, and disappointments. These situations can
be damaging to the fabric of our lives, relationships, and to
the vitality of the faith community. It is these situations that
this ministry is intended to address.
