First Communion Families Lesson and Meal May 8th 6 PM All families preparing children for First Communion this Spring are invited to participate in a lesson and meal with Fr. Don, Thursday, May 8th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Fr. Don will do a lesson with the children and parents: A potluck dinner will follows. Each family is asked to bring a main dish and one other dish (salad, vegetable or dessert). Cactus Grill in Loveland Carpool from Commons @ 6 PM For the Least of My Brothers May 9th 3-9 PM The West African Development Support Organization (WADSO) and Blessed John XXIII Catholic University Center are sponsoring an art show fundraising event on Friday, May 9th from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at John XXIII , for the ongoing support of Madonna Hospital in Umuahia, Nigeria. The art show featuring the work of some 19 artists, all of which is for sale, includes oils, watercolors, bronze, wood and stone sculptures, jewelry, stained glass and photography. There also a children’s art competition and silent and live auctions. Mom's Group Wednesdays 9-11 AM We are a group of diverse women whose common bond is our children...of all ages! We welcome any mom or grandmother to join us for conversation, snacks and a respite time with other adults. Babies are welcome to stay with Mom.
