WHAT SPECIFIC SITUATIONS WOULD THIS MINISTRY SERVE?

This ministry will be available in four types of conflict situations. These are situations of conflict where the resources of those involved have not been able to achieve reconciliation and resolution, and where including additional resources could make a positive difference.

1. Conflicts between staff members.
2. Conflicts within a ministry group or within a committee.
3. Conflits between ministry groups or between committees.
4. Conflits between parishoners and parish leadership (staff or volunteer leaders).

In the first phase of implementing and developing this new ministry only the first three kinds of conflicts will be addressed, i.e. conflicts at the leadership level. After getting some experience at that level, the ministry will be expanded to include category number four, conflicts between parishioners and parish leadership.
