WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THIS MINISTRY?

The overall goal is to work toward reconciliation and conflict resolution with one or both sides of a conflict. If working with one side, the team assists the party in developing the understanding, clarity, and empowerment to deal with the situation in as constructive a way as possible. If working with two parties in conflict, the goal of this ministry is to assist the parties in coming to a mutual, respectful understanding. If that kind of mutual understanding is achieved, the ministry would then be available to assist the parties (if they choose to go further) to develop some agreements or resolutions in the areas of the conflict.
